We are looking for enthusiastic and creative editorial assistants to join FQ Magazine for four-month internships with the potential for a paid position thereafter for an immediate start.
FQ Magazine is an established national ezine for new and expectant dads and we are looking for interns to cover entertainment, fashion, gadgets, online news and what's on. You will support our small editorial team on the magazine’s website and ezine, primarily creating interesting and fresh 'parent-focused' content. The internship is a perfect way to gain experience working with a well-known niche national title.
The role will include press release management, liaising with PR/ contributors/journalists, editing content and press releases, image searching and any other editorial support.
You will work from home but must be available to travel into central London for press events and meetings (expenses will be covered), and hours are flexible. Please only apply if you are regularly available to travel in and around London.
Interested candidates should ideally be educated to degree level and have some form of journalism qualifications and experience.
You must also have excellent attention-to-detail, be able to produce accurate, engaging content and have plenty of ideas, be willing to learn and listen to instructions, be computer literate, polite, able to communicate effectively and have a first-rate telephone manner.
