My name is Nick Donnelly and I would please like to introduce you to HUSTLE FACTORY™
As an artist and businessman I have produced official and exclusive videos with musicians who have sold over 100 million records and it all started with a £100 marketing budget in 2011 in a flat in Newcastle, England that we named the Hustle Factory.
It is this I have named our new unique internship programme after and I am excited to tell you about it today should it be something you wish to apply for.
Myself and my company have been providing internships with Internwise for several years now:
We have had interns who have produced a video for a major festival in Belgium attended by 80,000, interns who have started clothing lines, recording studios, who have taken photoshoots with rock and roll hall of fame inductees, produced interviews down at Atlantic, Warner records etc.
Most recently interns produced an event at Lights of Soho in London, one of the most exclusive venues in the city.
At 22 years old, in my first year working, me and my housemate had produced videos to over 10 million people online and with no record label support helped introduce some of the major names in the British urban music scene: Krept & Konan, Lady Leshurr, Giggs, Charlie Sloth, Wretch 32.... if you visit our website www.urbankingdom.tv you can see some of our work,
We now are also a feature film production company - our first release is on gender equality 'God Save The Queen' starring Motown legend Martha Reeves and a songwriter for Beyonce (Freedom, Runnin). Our second release is a collaboration film with Wu-Tang Clan and is out this Summer.
I built this company from scratch so I believe that our education programmes are amongst the best in the world when it comes to developing independent talent in the entertainment industry.and I personally take great pride and responsibility in our internship scheme.
The Urban Kingdom™ brand is extensive: we are film and video producers, we are artists, we have a music management and events agency, an upcoming clothing line, an online magazine and a philanthropy foundation.
This year I want to introduce something completely different in how we develop talent which is what 'Hustle Factory' is all about.
I am hiring 6 interns to work over a 8 week period.
You will work together some weeks to help launch events and fundraisers, but in other weeks you will be working alone on a different project every week so whether that be dealing with filmmakers, or promoters, or bloggers, or photographers etc.
Each week you will deal directly with myself online and then at the end of the 8 week programme I will produce a video for the start-up of the person who I believe has produced the best work over the period.
Thank you for reading today, I look forward to reading back from applicants.
