The aim of PUBLIC PRESSURE is to showcase the best of the alternative / underground music, arts and social issues.
We are born out of a desire to generate interest in all things we feel deserve it.
We are looking at expanding our social media marketing further with the help of a dynamic Intern who wishes to have hands on experience with promoting a music business online.
So, we need someone to help us spread the good word.
The role will involve:
- Assuming full control of our social media activity
- Contributing with your own ideas to our social media strategy
- Data management / Managing spreadsheets (we record social data in depth and a lot of your activity will need recording in our database)
- promoting music articles
- Promoting events
- Work with the team
We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, hard working and music & social media crazy individual, coming in with fresh ideas and the drive to excel.
While initially working closely with our Editorial and label management team, you will quickly get to work on your own and unsupervised.
Of course, we will have daily / weekly communication, meetings and social gathering with the team too.
You therefore need to be happy to work alone and be self-motivated and results driven.
The role could be full-time or part-time (minimum 3 days per week) depending on the preferences of the suitable candidate.
In addition, the duration of the role could extend beyond 4 months if the internship is proving to be mutually beneficial.

A degree in sales/marketing or related subject is preferred but not essential.
The role would suit someone who is interested in working full time in online marketing, new media or the music Industry, someone who wants to get hands on experience of a wide variety of skills and responsibilities that would take much longer to be trusted with in a larger organisation.
