Description

Fuzz Club is an independent record label and online store based in London. We’ve worked with the likes of Night Beats, Holy Wave, The Underground Youth, The Black Angels, Acid Baby Jesus, Alan Vega, Anton Newcombe, Dead Skeletons, The Black Ryder and loads more.

We’re looking for someone to join the team to assist the Head of Press/Marketing in day-to-day PR duties and digital communications.

Unfortunately, this is an unpaid opportunity however the role is extremely flexible and travel expenses will obviously be covered. You’ll only be needed in the office 1/2 days a week (typical work day is 11-6) so this is perfect for someone looking for something to fit around university/part-time work. We are based in Leytonstone, E11.

What The Job Will Entail

• Assisting in day-to-day PR/marketing tasks.
• Writing press releases and content for the blog/store.
• Organising promo materials and uploading to various digital platforms.
• PR research.
• Sending out promo copies.
• Assisting with social media
• Liaising with journalists, bloggers, artists etc.
• Compiling coverage reports.

Required Skills:
• Experience in music journalism or just a natural flair for writing
• Perfect spelling and grammar
• Super organised
• Know your way around Bandcamp, Soundcloud and Youtube
• A love of underground and left-field music (particularly all things noisy and psychedelic)
• Must not be allergic to/scared of Ludo, the office dog.

Bonus Skills (Not Compulsory):
• Comfortable using Mailchimp, e-commerce platforms (i.e Shopfiy, WooCommerce), Photoshop and Premiere Pro
• Experience in music PR, social media, marketing etc.
