Metro Dynamics offers internships for talented individuals that are looking to build their experience in the fields of public policy, public affairs, urban research, housing and economic development. Our work is at the forefront of cities policy and a Metro Dynamics internship is a fantastic way to develop professional experience and contacts.
Interns at Metro Dynamics can expect to be involved in:
• Supporting consultancy projects through researching specific topics and preparing draft information for internal use and for clients
• Contributing to leading-edge economic spatial analysis
• Leading and contributing to specific research strands that build the company’s knowledge leadership in relevant fields
• Providing day-to-day support as required to the activities of the business

Our internships typically last for three months, with an option to extend, or convert into a permanent post. Interns can expect to be paid the Living Wage.

Please note: all applicants must have the relevant permissions to work in the UK for the period of the internship being considered.


Candidates are expected to be recent graduates in a relevant field (e.g. economics, urban studies, real estate, politics, geography, statistics, etc.) and to be able to demonstrate interest and experience in topics relevant to our business.

We are particularly keen to speak to recent graduates with a strong econometric and statistical background. Experience of using ArcGIS, QGIS and Stata or R, would be helpful, but not a prerequisite.
