Avril has been many things over the course of her life – a Civil Engineer, a Physics teacher, a financial adviser with her own award-winning business which sold some years ago to a City firm, CEO of a global recruitment firm. Along the way she has qualified as a Master NLP practitioner, a hypnotherapist and a Thought Field Therapist – all of which sound off the wall but actually make her more effective than most in working with businesses and the people who run them. Avril is a regular columnist for Management Today and has written a book about work (and sex) - The Kama Sutra of Work: Why work is the new sex and how to make sure you're getting enough - which has recently been published on Amazon, Kindle and Waterstones.
