WHFS is a community health charity focused on health and empowerment issues for disadvantaged women and their families. Based in Tower Hamlets, East London, it has pioneered a model of inclusive health provision supporting the training and recruitment of women as advocates and volunteers from the Bangladeshi, Chinese, Somali and Vietnamese communities, therefore ensuring WHFS effectively represent the community’s needs.
