We’re a digital music and video company based in Kentish Town and we’re looking for an online marketing and promotions intern. Working across our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts, as well as our website, you’ll be working to promote our YouTube channel and increase our online audience.

The 86th Floor combines our love of music and geek culture, producing awesome music and videos featuring some of the world’s greatest cosplayers. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with a keen interest in marketing and social media to join our young and dynamic team.

We already have a loyal and passionate audience so you will be building on those foundations to help our fans know exactly what we’re up to.

Reporting to our marketing and promotion manager, the day to day tasks include:

Writing copy for our website and blog (a high standard of written English is required and experience in blogging and/or WordPress is preferable).
Working on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts to engage with our audience.
Implementing low cost and high impact online marketing campaigns.
Promoting our work across a range of websites, with highly focused special interest groups.
Writing and distributing press releases to online platforms.
Planning and developing further marketing initiatives.
Analysing and reporting on campaign performance.

We are also looking to expand our online video presence to include a vlog channel later this year, so camera operation experience and knowledge/experience of Premiere Pro would be a definite plus.

This would be an ideal role for either a recent PR or Marketing graduate, or any individuals who already have personal experience of building online audiences (Bloggers/YouTubers) who would like to build a strong portfolio of industry experience in a creative and supportive environment.

The internship will run for three months – based on a four day working week from 10:00 – 17:00.
The successful applicant will be paid £220 per week. Depending on the success of the initial three months, this role may well turn into a permanent full time position.

To apply for this role, please send us your CV with a brief covering letter and add the subject ‘Marketing and Promotions Intern.
