MentorMi is an app designed to help fulfil our inner thirst for knowledge and desire to share our expertise and experience with the rest of the world. Our app is a place where you can find someone to teach or learn from.

With the launch of Mentor-Mi soon approaching, scheduled for the first quarter of 2019, we are looking for a blogger/writer to spring into action in preparation for the launch. This is a work from home position, therefore you can work from anywhere in the world, and as we have a goal for global reach on our app, we are open to collaborate with talented individuals across the world. If you have a passion for writing, blogging, learning, love the idea of sharing knowledge and are looking for a new challenge then this experience is for you.

Role overview
‪This writing/blogging work experience opportunity gives one motivated individual the opportunity to gain experience-conducting research on a vast number of topics as the idea around mentoring encompasses many cultures, ideas and interests. The super star candidate will be an integral part of raising awareness of the Mentor Mi app as well as helping in the share or knowledge to which we are involved.

‪A motivated intern will complete this internship with:
· ‪An understanding of content marketing and branding.
· An understanding of strategic research to grow a brand.
· An understanding of how a piece of writing can fit into a business strategy, marketing and brand development.
·Writing/blogging from a business yet creative perspective.

‪Main role Responsibilities:
· ‪Research given topics and report findings.
· Write interesting articles/blogs in accordance with topics.
· ‪Offer research suggestions & ideas when appropriate.
· ‪Collaborate with team members.
· Weekly telephone conference catch ups and ad hoc meetings.

· ‪Students and Graduates looking to gain an experience in the practical aspect of their degree. (Also open to other individuals who want to gain experience/ further their work portfolio)
· ‪Familiar with content marketing.
· Familiar with hair and beauty industry.
· ‪Passionate about researching.
· An interest in marketing and social media.
· ‪Excellent time-management skills.
· Able to work independently.
· ‪Professional and positive attitude.
· ‪Strong desire to learn.
· ‪Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Flexible and adaptable approach.

‪What we require from you
· ‪Be available to work 2-6 hours a week - all training will be given before you start.
· Be over 18 and be eligible to work in the UK.
· ‪Attend a short interview - to ensure we select the right candidate.
· Available to meet up fortnightly if necessary.
· ‪Have access to a computer & internet (this will not be provided).
· ‪Because of the nature of the role, you'll have to work from home.

‪This is an unpaid position with a duration of 10 weeks.
