Grove Tutors specialises in 1:1 home tuition in Berkshire, Surrey and London. Our experienced tutors have helped hundreds of students to fulfil their potential at primary level, 11+, 13+, GCSE and A-Level.

We have an excellent team of tutors that includes qualified teachers, expert tutors and high-flying postgraduate and undergraduate students.

Role Overview

1 day/week – there is some flexibility in terms of the scheduled day.
The work would take place at Central Working – a beautiful co-working space that is walking distance from Sloane Square and Victoria. At Central Working, there is the opportunity to network with entrepreneurs and startups.
Start Date – August / September 2019
Duration – 10 – 12 months
Salary - £8/hour

Role Responsibilities – Content (4 hours/week)

To research and write a weekly blog article for the Grove Tutors website.
To research and identify resources for tutors to access in our website portal Tutor Zone.
To schedule and manage a weekly post on our Facebook, Instagram and Twitter account.
To identify and engage with relevant Facebook, Instagram and Twitter accounts.
To create, design and manage a quarterly newsletter for tutors.

Role Responsibilities – Partnerships (4 hours/week)

To identify and build partnerships with key contacts at universities and schools.
To manage listings on career portals and job sites.
To identify and contact tutors online.
To log partnership activities in Excel.

Role Requirements

This role would be suitable for a university student who is looking to gain experience in the areas outlined above.

Exceptional research, organisational and writing skills.
Attention to detail and time management skills.
Familiar with the UK education system.
IT proficient (Google Drive, Microsoft Office, Hootsuite, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, MailChimp).
