As our new Social Media Intern, you will work with the wider marketing and creative team to create and sustain an engaging online experience for our audiences through our online and offline platforms. You’ll have a creative mindset, a keen eye for detail and a curious nature with a desire to constantly learn more. You will be supported in your role every step of the way, but expected to deliver on our high expectations. As such, you’ll be confident to work collaboratively with other creative professionals – able to suggest ways to improve our strategies as well as take creative criticism with a positive mindset Key Job Role Responsibilities: You will be working with the Marketing Manager and collaborating with the wider team to define Fluxxt Group’s marketing strategy. Aligning specific KPIs to marketing objectives. Creating compelling, well-written copy for social channels and other online editorials. Monitoring digital analytics, reporting on channel performance and briefing the team with ideas and recommendations for improvements. Managing Fluxxt Group's social media platforms and management tools – collaborating with team members to create content identified as effective for our target markets and specific to particular social channels. Managing the Fluxxt Group content marketing strategy. Ensuring content is planned, delivered on time and optimised to target audiences to reach KPIs set. Independently plan and deliver comprehensive marketing campaigns and projects to achieve objectives set. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest social media best practices, trends and technologies - suggesting how good practice can be used to improve Fluxxt Group's marketing strategy and social media plans. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of on-page SEO activities and produce materials that will compel engaging behaviours within our online communities such as social sharing, backlinks, digital PR and opportunities for collaboration. Support the implementation of the Fluxxt Group PR development plans. Communicate / Reach out to prospects and industry professionals/influencers to create a strong social community around the Fluxxt Group brand. - Representing the company at various events and networking sessions. Work with the team on live events. Increasing reach and turnout to our events and supporting the creation of marketing materials. Maintain a keen interest in the latest trends and developments within tech. - responding to these trends on behalf of Fluxxt Group with responsive thought leadership content. Contribute to audience research requirements including primary source research (interviews, questionnaires etc) to improve marketing strategy and product development. Essential Skillsets: Great communication and organisation skills. Experience of using a range of social media scheduling tools and conducting social media audits and landscape reviews. The ability to devise and drive content marketing strategies across a variety of platforms. Interested in keeping up to date with social media trends and sector-relevant events and resources. A willingness for self-betterment and an enthusiasm to learn. This means you can continuously develop within your role, through the support and encouragement that you will be offered. Excellent writing editorial, proofreading and content creation skills across multiple channels, from tweets and blogs to client and campaign proposals. Have creative and conceptual skills - you are able to come up with engaging social topics, post formats and competitions. A self-starter mindset with the confidence to work both with a team and independently on multiple projects at any one time.
