Description: MentorMi is an app designed to help fulfil our inner thirst for knowledge and desire to share our expertise and experience with the rest of the world. Our app is a place where you can find someone to teach or learn from. In preparation of the launch of Mentor-Mi soon approaching, we are looking for a couple of enthusiastic social media, marketing assistants to spring into action in preparation for the launch. This is a work from home position, therefore you can work from anywhere in the world, and as we have an a goal for global reach on our app, we are open to collaborate with talented individuals across the world. If you have a passion for learning, love the idea of sharing knowledge worldwide and are looking for a new challenge in the new year, then this experience is for you. Key tasks: • Assisting with marketing strategy to raise awareness and acquire users. • Research and implementation. • Assisting with social media campaigns. • Using online platforms to create a worldwide reach. • Brainstorming, interesting and abstract ideas to market the app. • Assisting with blog ideas and content calendars. • Produce content such as writing blogs to be published on the Mentor Mi blog, creating content for online distribution etc A motivated intern will complete this internship with: • An understanding of marketing practices including social media. • An understanding of how and where social media, and content can benefit a brand/App’s success. • An understanding of how to use social media marketing publishing and tracking tools and to analyse content performance. • An understanding of creative ways to produce content and use online platforms to build communities. • An understanding of brand PR. • Be part of an interesting journey from the beginning. • Learn the work that goes into the marketing of a new product. • Leave the internship with knowledge on implementing a marketing strategy, from A-B. Qualifications: The ideal candidate: • Students and Graduates looking to gain an experience in the practical aspect of their degree. (Also open to other individuals who want to gain experience/ further their work portfolio) • Familiar with the main & emerging social media platforms • Passionate about marketing and social media • Interested and open minded to the challenges of working for a small start up • Enjoys multi-tasking with excellent time-management skills • Excellent time-management skills • Adapts well to a fast-paced working environment • Able to work independently and handle work load • Professional attitude • Strong desire to learn • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Flexible and adaptable approach. • Bi-lingual (Ability to speak multi-languages is desirable but not required. ) What we require from you: • Be available to work 6 hours a week - all training will be given. • Be over 18 and be eligible to work in the UK. • Can work from home and meet if required. • Have access to a computer & internet (this will not be provided). • Because of the nature of the role, you'll have to work from home. • Be professional and confident • Have a positive can do attitude.
