Description: Marketing Executive – Full Time - £21,500 per annum Brands: The Cocktail Service & The Cocktail Society The Companies The Cocktail Service and The Cocktail Society are leading companies within the drinks industry, providing marketing, events and direct-to-consumer cocktail products The Cocktail Service delivers premium event bar services for drinks brands, events planners, corporate clients and venues. All events are bespoke and planned by our events teams. The Cocktail Society provides a number of direct to consumer cocktail products via our e-commerce platform including a cocktail subscription box, premium cocktail kits and a range of ready-to-drink cocktails. The two companies have experienced strong growth in the last four years and have developed a national reputation for our services and products within the drinks industry. Annually, we deliver 600+ projects internationally, supported by an office team of 14, at our base in Oxford. We have a strong company culture and we regard ourselves as the market leaders within our sectors. We have ambitious plans in the next five years to expand our operations and increase market share, with the marketing and creative team integral. Role Outline · The role is based fundamentally on producing written content for the website and publications. You will also be required to run our social media accounts, track our metrics weekly and assist the team with other ad hoc marketing tasks. · Although the role does require a varied skillset – if you are a good learner, enthusiastic and have excellent written skills, we will train the right candidate to the required job-specific skillset. Accountabilities Content Creation · We run a consistent content marketing programme that is built around delivering a number of article and website uploads such as recipes every week. We require the candidate to be able to deliver consistently high quality written content on a weekly basis. · Ensure that content is thoroughly edited and fact-checked. · Produce content that is optimised for SEO · Upload content onto our website so it is technically accurate for our SEO. · Choose and upload relevant imagery for any content produced. · Romte content through various channels. Social Media · Run the company social media accounts. · Choose on brand imagery and schedule this for use so it is optimised for different social platforms. · Grow our social media accounts. Other · Track marketing KPI’s and metrics. · Assist marketing team with ad hoc projects. Key Relationships Internal · Marketing Director · Sales Director · Designer (to assist and manage creative output) External · Printing agencies · Social growth agency · SEO agency · PR Agency · Any other third-party creative agencies we engage Experience, Skills & Knowledge Key · Organisational skills and record-keeping · A strong knowledge of all key social media platforms · Excellent research and written skills – this is an essential part of the role. · Strong editing skills. · Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Preferred · Knowledge and interest in the drinks and event industry · At least 1 years experience in a similar role · A creative approach that has attention to detail and is able to create content that is in line with our premium services. · Experience in SEO, PPC, Content Marketing and Link Building. · Experience in website CMS Competencies · Attention to detail · Record keeping · Communication · Creativity · Keeping to deadlines · Team player · Going the extra mile · Ability to learn about and understand our industry · An innovative approach to your work · Self-improvement and personal development within your role. Business Specific Requirements · Workload within our business can occasionally spike unexpectedly and it is important that all employees are aware that their working hours can be subject to change. We require all employees to be team players and if required work outside of their contracted hours to meet deadlines. · Our office is located within Oxford. We can by arrangement facilitate remote working
