Description: Blankbox Studio is an all-white creative studio, based in South Woodford East London Our studio is home to a number of Photographers, Videographers, Make-up artists, Stylists and other talented creatives in the industry. We offer in-house creative services as well as stand-alone studio hire, for customers in fashion and product photography as well as eCommerce and Advertising. The current vacancy we are hiring for is a Photography Studio & Marketing Assistant with someone who has some experience with studio/venue space hire in the commercial photography/creative industry. The primary responsibility of this role is to be responsible for opening and closing the studio. You will assist in the preparation of photoshoots, ensure the studio is clean and tidy, and perform ad-hoc tasks around the studio. We are a rapidly growing company who work with large companies including the BBC, MTV and Sony Music, therefore representation is very important to us when it comes to staffing. The person appointed will be a confident written and verbal communicator and be aligned with our core values of being ambitious and forward-thinking especially in situations that may be experienced for the first time. Some of the tasks you will be expected to include are as follows: • Collect behind the scenes content on shoot day • Set up and take down of studio/lighting setup • General studio upkeep and tidy up • Ad-hoc tasks around our studios and location spaces • Email and phone enquiries screening and delegation • Assist with Studio hire bookings • Assist on photographic shoots • Collaborate with the creative director to produce social media content (TIKTOKS, REELS, SNAPS) • Passion for providing the highest level of customer service to new, and existing clients • Must be detail-oriented, diligent, and very well organised • Comfortable working with numbers • Professional demeanour with excellent written and verbal communication skills • Ability to organise and prioritise workload, multi-task using effective time management skills • Excellent interpersonal skills and adaptability to change in a fast-paced work environment • Must have a strong work ethic and willingness to meet deadlines • Ability to take initiative and work calmly under pressure • Must be willing to work flexible shifts on weekends and evenings as required to oversee bookings
