Description: ROLE OVERVIEW Connect Global Group is seeking an enthusiastic graduate who is fairly digitally savvy to join our team as a Social Media Intern. In this role, you will be responsible for executing a clearly defined social media strategy across our social media accounts under the guidance of the Global Head of Digital Delivery. To be successful in this role you will need strong presentation and communication skills and be able to develop high-quality social media content by following our brand guidelines. A persuasive writer, you are a regular user of Twitter and LinkedIn. You are keen to learn about tools like Google Analytics so that you can demonstrate the impact of your work by digging into the numbers. You will measure success in terms of inbound links, traffic, and new customer activations. You have the experience to conduct market research to understand and align the messaging to attract the right audience. The new Social Media Intern will need to demonstrate an unbridled passion for social media content production and promotion and will report to the Global Head of Digital Delivery to inform strategy and planning requirements. You will also work collaboratively with other webinar and marketing managers across the group. This is a paid internship lasting six months and an exciting opportunity in a fast-growing business. The role is 100% remote for the next few months. There is also the thrilling opportunity to move into a full-time employee role before the end of the 6-month stint, should we see a measurable impact on the social media performance. RESPONSIBILITIES - Adopt and enhance our social media model - Build our social media presence on Twitter - Enhance our social media presence on LinkedIn - Review webinars to use as a basis of content production - Create a comprehensive social media content plan for the month ahead - Schedule and automate social posts where possible - Contribute to brainstorming sessions REQUIREMENTS - Experience using Twitter and LinkedIn. - Your writing is clear, concise, and persuasive. - Knowledge of Canva, Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, and Google Analytics is a big advantage. - An interest in financial services and financial technology - Available for a minimum of 20 hours per week. (5 hours per day Monday to Thursday e.g. 9 am -3 pm with 1-hour break) - Fluent in English - Bonus Languages: Portuguese and/or Spanish BENEFITS - Paid Internship for 6 months - Flexible working hours - Opportunity to become Social Media Manager and join a full-time role.
