Description: This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who wants to gain experience or work in all areas of event management. If you’re passionate about event planning and want to get experience working for brands, we want to talk to you. We are looking for Internships. This is a contract position. Experiences are desirable but not compulsory. responsibilities: Acting as the first point of contact and RHP to the director Acting on behalf of and representing the director as required, including the management of calls, enquiries and requests, expense authorisation and sign off on business-related decisions Reporting back to the director with detailed and accurate notes following any absence Assisting with budget management Undertaking projects on a regular basis, including event planning Personal assistant tasks for the director, including, but not limited to, diary management, extensive email correspondence and organising both internal and external meetings Attending meetings and producing follow-up notes Organising complex travel itineraries and travelling with director Providing line management and support to administration and operations teams, including task delegation, training new employees, undertaking appraisals and handling poor performance issues Working closely with the administration and operations managers to ensure the smooth running of the business, including the maintenance of office stock and supplies and regular database updates Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence; Keen to acquire, analyse, share and use knowledge; Ability to complete all agreed tasks on time, to the required quality and within budget; If you have the fundamental understanding / knowledge of the main classes of commercial insurance that would be ideal; Demonstrate awareness of Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) compliance requirements; Competent Microsoft Office skills, specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Excellent attention to detail with good analytical skills and an understanding of financial and commercial acumen; Ideally you will be educated to at least A level or equivalent and will have some administrative experience. Contract length: 3 months Expected start date: 01/10/2021 Job Types: Full-time, Internship COVID-19 considerations: We follow the government guidelines. There will be sanitisers and protective mask available in the office.
