Description: OVERVIEW: SANS- is a start-up sustainable personal care brand based in East London. We are about to launch our first product - a natural, refillable deodorant, and are looking for a Marketing & Operations Executive to help drive awareness and growth of the company. We think daily routines should be a space for serenity, a respite from the sound and the fury. That’s why we designed our deodorants to be a source of escape and considered self-care. Traditional deodorants are full of synthetic ingredients that work against, not with, your body and the environment. Our challenge was to find the best alternatives, considering efficacy, impact, and, of course, beautiful, immersive scent. As a Marketing & Operations Executive, you will have the opportunity to manage a broad range of the brand’s marketing channels from social accounts to newsletters, as well as having a pivotal role in the operational aspects of the business. You will help ensure the smooth execution of these goals by coordinating with the internal team, as well as with external product design, manufacturing and fulfilment partners. This hands-on role will offer the exciting opportunity to experience a fast-growing brand, gain insight into the startup world, and work directly with the founders. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES: Management of all marketing activity for the brand across social (organic, paid, community management), google display, PPC, newsletters (copywriting and design), SMS (customer service and marketing), PR (alongside agency) and website upkeep Weekly marketing content calendar (Organic social and boosting) Writing copy and designing assets to use for social media Proactive approach to potential new marketing strategies (SMS Marketing, Newsletters, etc) Liaising with and maintaining relationships with PR agency, manufacturers and fulfilment partners Updating the website as and when required, and coordinating with external website developers Management of all customer service JOB REQUIREMENTS: Familiarity with Shopify (desirable but not essential) Familiarity with Klaviyo (desirable but not essential) Highly organised and methodical with eye for detail Excellent written and oral communication skills Understanding of social channels (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok) Content creation capabilities (Adobe Photoshop/Canva - desirable but not essential) Ability to work both independently and within a team environment, and demonstrate experience of multi-tasking A persuasive and confident approach to projects Organised with excellent time management skills A motivated self-starter Passionate about sustainability Keen to learn and develop in a high-growth start up environment BENEFITS £22-25K 20 days holiday (plus birthday and bank holidays) Flexible working (2 days remote, 3 in office) Additional holiday day for each year of employment External & internal dedicated training & development programmes Summer working hours Company phone Winter & Summer team socials
