The Skills You’ll Need to Succeed: - Confident, bubbly personality with a positive attitude and a strong drive to succeed; - Be a self-starter, take initiative and gain experience in a small business; - Highly experienced as a user and publisher on social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok and LinkedIn; - Some recent experience in a food, snacks, drinks or similar FMCG business is preferred but not essential; - Strong attention to detail; - IT proficiency; - Experience working with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is preferred but not required; - Experience working with Shopify and Google Analytics is preferred but not required; - Ability to learn new skills quickly; - Flexibility, able to work as part of a team as well as on your own; - Fast reactions, the ability to multitask and able to prioritise workload; - ‘Can – do’ positive approach with a passion for the industry; - Be both creative and analytical in your approach; - Strong organisational skills are essential as is administrative and communication skills; - We will consider a graduate with good grades and a passion for the food, snacks or drinks sector. The Role: We require a passionate and driven individual to lead on digital content creation, social media marketing and assist with driving our online digital growth strategy. You will be required to work closely with external suppliers and designers to create and enhance social media content, and create and develop affiliate partner relationships. Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing and working closely with our Digital Marketing Executive, the role will take overall responsibility for planning and managing consumer facing social marketing channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, LinkedIn, Pinterest and Youtube. You will be required to use social media platforms and create and plan visual content for social media channels. You must be fluent in English, have experience with social media platforms and be experienced and adept in using Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and TikTok as a minimum. Experience with photography and videography is essential. Experience with photo editing and video editing software is preferred but not essential. You will have the opportunity to create engaging, high-quality content for social media platforms and gain experience in social media strategy. You will manage and maintain business social media accounts and develop relationships with a range of clients and partners in the food and drink category. You will be required to deliver social campaigns, guide on content creation and schedule posts. You will be required to analyse and report on the performance of campaigns and posts, analyse the data and provide regular recommendations for improvement of our social media strategy. You will be required to manage all inbound communications from our core platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and TikTok) and relentlessly grow our engagement and audience. You will be required to develop new partnerships and create new campaigns with affiliate partners through affiliate marketing platform AWIN with the aim of increasing sales through our online channels. You will be passionate about growing the Popcorn Shed brand and digital marketing. You will be expected to maximise online sales conversion rates through social content, ensuring that marketing budgets are utilised in the most efficient way possible. You will identify opportunities with potential digital partners such as influences, bloggers and affiliates in order to drive engagement with Popcorn Shed social media channels and increase followers / likes. You will be expected to communicate and negotiate with existing and new partners, in order to drive traffic and sales conversions at popcornshed.com. Experience of working with AWIN is preferred but not essential. Working with our retained digital agency, you will support in running social media advertising campaigns and reporting on their performance. This is an exciting, fast-paced role, ideal for an individual to develop their social media marketing experience within the field of food gifting / e-commerce. This role is excellently suited to a creative and ambitious individual who wishes to gain experience in online marketing and working in the food industry.
