My company is an operations consultancy working with high-performance business owners around the world that operate predominantly online to structure their internal operations to support business growth and change. Our clients' main challenge is that their growth has outpaced their business operational structure. They come to us for support in mapping out and then implementing robust and sustainable systems and teams to support their business goals and align with their overall strategy. Here's what you need to know about my business: I have a predominantly 1:1 business model. Currently, that involves serving clients in both consultancy and implementation capacities on an ongoing and one-off basis, as well as a newly launched digital shop. A big focus for 2022 is expanding our product suite and incorporating more one-to-many products and services. As part of this focus, we will be launching a membership model and more digital products. I KNOW the incredible value of a great team member and put a huge focus on creating a positive company culture; I know if you love and are motivated by your work, you'll be better at it. Role Overview This role is much more than your typical internship - you will actually hold real responsibility and deliverables. Interning for a start-up is fast-paced, varied and dynamic. I have a strong corporate background and we bring that structure to our company operations, albeit with a flexible working environment and without the red tape and endless meetings. The position has a broad range of responsibilities, which is great for you to explore what work you truly love to do and develop core skillsets that will serve you well in any future role. Responsibilities Marketing Researching marketing strategies and creating proposals for how they could be implemented within our company Mapping out our content plans in our project management software Manage our content calendar and ensure various contributors meet deliverables on time and to quality standards Schedule and post to social channels including Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest & Instagram Stories Ensure all interactions on our content such as comments and DMs are responded to in a timely manner (24 business hours) and in line with our brand messaging Collate, analyse and report our marketing metrics on a weekly basis Create, maintain and follow all marketing Standard Operating Procedures Operations Collating, analysing and reporting on key business data in an easily digestible format, both internally and for client accounts Supporting in the design and creation of internal and client processes, tech set-up and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Mapping out of workflows in flowchart software such as Whimsical or LucidChart Administration Take notes during meetings and record and assign relevant actions in our project management system immediately afterwards Manage recognition and gifting (milestones, birthdays, successes) for our team and clients Other miscellaneous admin tasks that crop up from time to time! Platforms & Tools Used **This is a list of tech tools we use internally. You are not expected to be familiar with them as you will be trained on how to use them. Sometimes we do use alternative software for clients.** ClickUp (this is the hub of our business operations) Google Drive Slack Airtable Dubsado ActiveCampaign ThriveCart Zapier Acuity Whimsical LucidChart This Role Is For You If: You are doing an undergraduate degree (or equivalent) in Business, Marketing, Communications, Operations Management or similar You are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Powerpoint) and/or GSuite (Google Sheets, Docs and Slides) You have experience in collating and analysing data to provide insights and recommendations You have a technical bias, love to learn new online software and have the ability to pick it up quickly You have great attention to detail and follow-through skills. I'll level with you, standards are high around here and doing a mediocre job and/or consistently missing deadlines will not fly You have a positive attitude and a can-do approach to your work You have the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously without getting overwhelmed – you get things done, prioritise, and meet deadlines When faced with a problem, you demonstrate resourcefulness and actively seek solutions, rather than expecting someone to solve it for you You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal You can take initiative and think outside the box You look for ways to go above and beyond and are truly invested in what you do You are willing to contribute and collaborate, not just ‘do the tasks’ - we WANT your point of view You are comfortable receiving and acting on constructive feedback and see it as a tool to grow and develop in your role You are flexible to take on additional tasks and responsibilities as they arise You can respond to all communications within 24 business hours and complete tasks within 2 - 3 business days Resources Available to You A full, structured onboarding and training process to allow you to have the information and resources to work autonomously and to your full potential. Support from the rest of the core team, which currently consists of the CEO, Operations Coordinator, Executive Assistant and Client Support Coordinator.
