Job Specification
Established in 2012 IHF is an award-winning Human Factors company, chartered by the Institute of Ergonomics and Human Factors (IEHF), with a focus on Human Systems Integration, Training, and Incident Investigation. We are based in Colinton, Edinburgh. The position involves market research, collating information and reporting the results to a senior colleague. This is NOT a cold-calling role and no hard selling is involved. The position will involve helping create marketing content for social media, our website and other channels. Graphic design or photographic/video skills would also be highly regarded. The right candidate will work as part of a small team and on their own initiative, once strategic direction has been agreed. Initially, the position will be for 3 months with hours negotiable; a practical minimum would be around 25 hours per week. There is no guarantee of a permanent position following this internship, although anything is possible for the right volunteer. During this internship, only limited business-related expenses can be refunded. However, a good performance will garner an appropriate reference and enjoyable work experience, as a minimum. Some of this work can be done remotely although we will require frequent face-to-face contact, in Edinburgh.
