Political Tours was created in 2009 by former New York Times Balkans Correspondent, Nicholas Wood, with the aim of giving people first-hand insight into some of the most critical regions in the world. As well as group tours we offer expert led day tours, and tailor-made tours for institutions and businesses. Political Tours is radically different from any other travel company. With tours designed and set up by journalists and political analysts we enable people to see a country in a way you would never think of. From North Korea to Russia, China and the US elections we examine some of the most important issues in the world. Guided by foremost experts in the region our groups have access to leading policy makers and international officials. They can pose their own questions, enter the debate and make up their own minds. Perhaps more importantly they spend time getting their boots dirty, and looking at issues faced by ordinary people.
