East of England
Kentwell Hall is a sixteenth century stately home in Long Melford, Suffolk, England, surrounded by timbered outbuildings, a rare breeds farm, tranquil gardens and a large estate. It is best known for being the originator of re-creations of Tudor domestic life, for schools and the public, which it still leads the field in. House, gardens and farm are open from March to October, and special events take place through-out the year, including a 1940s fete and tea-dance, Scaresville (an award-winning halloween experience) and our new Dickensian Christmas fayre. Kentwell is also a location for filming, weddings and corporate events.
