The Bicycle Library is an exciting new social enterprise in the form of a revamped double-decker bus. It is place to learn more and celebrate cycling in the city. Upstairs we have a library, gallery and tea service; a place for people to obtain advice & information within our files, flyers, books & mags; & to talk to our bicycle librarians about which bicycle/gear will empower their daily ride. We have a Bicycle Match Making Service where customers in the market for a new bike can hire the different city cycles we have on offer, allowing them to properly test each bike in their own neighbourhoods, on their everyday route, with their daily routine, bags & parking options. Downstairs, we have a showroom full of TWOnFRO urban cycling clothing and accessories. Designed to be stylish but placing function above fashion TWOnFRO offers a complete set of apparel that works day & night as well as both on & off the bike making it possible to bridge transitions- on the bike, to the office, meeting friends for a drink or dinner after work. Garments are reversible with subtle reflective detailing, adaptable to a range of social situations & won’t spell out ‘cyclist’, while keeping the rider dry & comfortable. Cycling can be part of everyday life & one of the building blocks that make up a sustainable city. With sustainability in mind, TWOnFRO also chooses to make apparel out of recycled eco-friendly fabrics such as bamboo, wool & recycled boat sails.
