1. Information about You
The primary purpose or importance of a CV is to help the employer gain more insights on you as a person or professional. Your location, the university where you studied, your profile picture or the supplementary courses or seminars you took from are important, but not critical.
What Employers are looking for is your ability to culturally fit in their organisation and execute activities the business requires.
Clearly outlining a brief intro about yourself; your degree; your skills, your achievements; your experience (if this is applicable) and, most importantly, addressing the question "why should an Employer hire you?" Are the critical elements to stand out from the crowd.
Another important element to be mindful is about how you build your CV - formatting; presentation; attention to detail (example grammar check) and overall your communication skills are also taken into consideration.

2. Your Branding
A CV helps creates your identity. Your CV tells about your journey that started with your education or, is going on with continuing studies or some contribution to the society, and that now you would like to employ your skills at the right place. For that, what are you good at? That’s what is mentioned in your CV. How have you utilised those skills in past, and how has it benefitted others, shows your professionalism as well as your capability to give your best if you get selected.
How do you brand yourself? How strong is your personal branding?
3. Highlight your achievements
It is important for employers to get an idea of what you have achieved while doing projects, University assignments, social work, or simply just helping your friend create that website. If you have some sort of professional, feel free to add.
The key mention is about your achievements if you want the employers to consider you as a potential candidate.
Go back to your CV and check how many measurable achievements have you added.
4. Goals and Skills Assessment
The kind of achievements mentioned in your CV tells a lot about you as a person or your goals and aspirations that led you to do a particular course or want for a specific internship. The skills that you acquired while doing those projects, make you the best fit for the company, they also give a glimpse of your expertise and leads the employers to connect better and know more about you.

5. It gets you an interview
It’s not always that you can get a job just like that, unless your parents already own a company where you are automatically absorbed (which still doesn't guarantee you a job).
Jobseekers must have a CV and be able to forward to companies, so they can understand what a candidate can bring to the table, and call for an interview. A well curated CV will land you an interview quickly.
6. Keep it updated and always improving
While you carefully build a CV, it’s also essential that you keep updating it, as you achieve more milestones in your career. It reflects your character, which is a key factor showing your capabilities and interests.
