How to manage interns

For a Positive New Hire Experience, Here are 5 Ways to Impress Gen Z Graduates.

Recruiters that want to attract, engage, and hire members of Generation Z should familiarise themselves with this generation's upbringing and cultural context. The members of Generation Z were born into a world replete with technological advancements like cell phones, social media, and Wi-Fi. Employers may benefit from developing ways to improve the onboarding process by taking into account the tastes, behaviours, and histories of Generation Z. You can find few ways to do so, below.

For a Positive New Hire Experience, Here are 5 Ways to Impress Gen Z Graduates.
Shortly, the batches of Generation Z will graduate and apply for graduate schools or internships. How will you make the most of this generation of people who grew up with computers? If you follow these tips, you can make the process of hiring Gen Z-ers more fun and easy.

1. Forms that are easy to fill out
The Centre for Generational Kinetics says that application forms should be filled out in less than 15 minutes. The first problem with Gen Z is getting them to apply, and then getting rid of those who don't meet the requirements.
So, as an extra incentive, you might want to think about making the application process as easy as possible.

2. There must be a lot of interaction.
To get Generation Z to work for you, you have to show that you care, so make sure you answer quickly and honestly. No one wants to be left in the dark when it comes to a job application.
Gen Z graduates, on the other hand, will see a lack of clarity and openness in conversation as a bad way to engage with a company and may decide not to work with you.
If a lot of students don't keep their promises, it could be because they don't know how to talk to each other.

3.Participatory assessments
Generation Z needs a full digital experience. They have grown up with smartphones and other devices that use artificial intelligence. The rise of games-based recruiting technology is good for both recruiters (accuracy and speed) and candidates (fun and interactive tests!).
But this technology is still new. It's important to be open to feedback and clear about what role it will play in your business.

4. Speed and how well things work
Generation Z has got used to always having information at their fingertips. When there's no news, they might think it's bad news because they can't stand to wait. Your hiring process should be well-thought-out and carried out on time. Throughout the process, you should keep in touch with candidates.
Gen Z might turn down your application if it takes you too long to figure out what you want to offer.

5. Customised and mobile-optimised
This generation is willing to give up some personal information in exchange for a better internet experience. If your hiring process is tailored to the needs of each candidate, they will have a better experience.

Candidates should have more options and control, such as automatic scheduling, virtual recruiting assistants that use AI, and interviews that can be set up at any time. It's not just a simple mail merge. Also, make sure your careers site is easy to use, loads quickly, and works on mobile devices.
