Position: Video Editor for Podcast Location: [Remotely] We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Video Editor to join our team and work on our podcast. As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality video content for our podcast episodes. Key Responsibilities: - Edit and produce video content for podcast episodes, including intro and outro videos, promotional videos, and highlight reels. - Collaborate with the podcast team to understand the vision and tone of each episode and ensure that the video content aligns with it. - Use video editing software to create visually appealing and engaging videos that enhance the overall podcast experience. - Incorporate graphics, music, and sound effects to enhance the video content. - Ensure that all videos are of high quality and meet the technical specifications for various platforms. - Stay up-to-date with the latest video editing techniques and software to continuously improve the quality of our videos. - Manage and organize video files and maintain an organized video library. - Work closely with the podcast team to meet deadlines and deliver videos in a timely manner. Requirements: - Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role. - Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar. - Strong understanding of video production and editing techniques. - Excellent eye for detail and ability to create visually appealing videos. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Strong communication and time management skills. - A portfolio of previous video editing work is preferred.
