This includes identifying, researching and interpreting the laws, rules, regulations, codes, standards and guidelines that govern the company's operations. Responsibilities: - Drafting and editing policies to be compliant with laws, regulations, industry best practices and company guidelines - Resolving conflicts in company policies with other departments - Identifying areas of ambiguity in company policy where clarification is needed - Ensuring that new or revised policies are communicated to all relevant departments (i.e. HR) for enforcement purposes - Collaborating with other departments to determine how current policies can be improved on or updated to better serve the needs of the company - Developing training materials for employees on existing or new policies - Maintaining a library of all past versions of all company policies - Maintaining a library of all past versions of all
