Position: Event Manager Location: Miltonkeynes/ UK Wide Salary: Competitive, based on experience About Us: Event Perfekt Ltd is a dynamic and innovative event management company dedicated to creating memorable experiences for our clients. We specialize in corporate events, weddings, conferences, and various other special occasions. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Event Manager Intern to join our team and assist in bringing our events to life. Job Description: As an Event Manager Intern at Event Perfekt Ltd, you will gain hands-on experience in planning, organizing, and executing a wide range of events. You will work closely with our experienced event managers to understand clients' needs and contribute to the coordination of all aspects of the events. This internship offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in event management and learn from industry professionals. Key Responsibilities: Assist in Event Planning: Support the development of detailed event plans, including timelines, budgets, and logistics. Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings to understand their event requirements and preferences. Vendor Coordination: Help source and negotiate with vendors and suppliers, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness. On-Site Support: Assist in the setup, execution, and breakdown of events, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Team Collaboration: Work alongside event staff and volunteers, contributing to clear communication and effective teamwork. Problem Solving: Assist in addressing and resolving any issues or emergencies that arise during events. Post-Event Analysis: Help conduct post-event evaluations to assess success and areas for improvement. Qualifications: Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field. Experience: Project/event management experience is desirable. Event Management experience Desirable. Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Creative problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Creative skills are desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with event management software is a plus. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks. Availability: Immediate availability is required. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules. Travel: Must be flexible and able to travel as needed.
