We have just launched a well-needed marketplace startup and are looking for marketers. We have 3 roles open, covering digital marketing, social media, and blogging. We are looking for motivated individuals that are interested to collaborate with us for experience and to build their portfolios. About us: bakeddesires.co.uk is a marketplace for sweet bakes. We are the first of our kind, focusing solely on 4 categories of sweet postal bakes and giving great autonomy to bakers around the UK. Effectively, we are the one-stop-shop that fulfils the passionate baker's goals and meets each customer's desire to enjoy varieties of baked indulgences. We are extremely motivated and with so many ambitions to serve as the go-to place for baked goods across the country, be it to enjoy at home, to share, or to gift to loved ones. We are gaining traction but need a more hands-on deck to maximise our drive and potential. The role: We exist to serve people – bakers and customers. And therefore, we have “people” in front of our core goals. We are looking for a creative Social Media person who is proactive, enjoys interacting & building online communities, is able to work alone and in a team, has raw initiative, and is willing to go the extra mile. We want someone that can share our dream, but also someone that will come in with a new perspective as we are super keen on diverse views and open-minded individuals. In turn, you will gain relevant invaluable experience to add to your CV or to build your portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your profile and to work in a prolific environment, building something super cool that is being used on a day-to-day basis. You will be helping us shape and build on our social medial profile, which we hope you will enjoy as there are lots of insights to gain working in an online start-up business. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: • Managing digital channels – website, Instagram, etc • Creating and innovating on content and promotional materials for our social media pages • Proactively promoting the bakeddesires.co.uk brand image on social media • Maintaining a media database • Actively interacting online and building a loyal social media community • Contributing to website redesign projects, and blog posts • engaging in online forums and participating in online outreach and promotion • Develop regular content calendars • Proactively monitor social media analytics to identify viable ideas and strategies Ideal Skills: Essential skills – knowledge of various social media sites, effective communication, organisational skills, proactiveness, creativity, and can-do attitude. Essential experience – None Desired experience – One or more of the following experiences would be advantageous - PR, social media, digital marketing, website building, copywriting, blogging, or content creation. In summary, we are looking for students/graduates or any individuals looking to gain relevant marketing experience and build their portfolio.
