Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Earth Observation Data Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining data systems and applications related to Earth Observation (EO) data. The role will involve working with a variety of data sources, including satellite imagery, aerial photography, and other remote sensing data.
The successful candidate will be expected to have a strong understanding of EO data and its applications, as well as experience in developing and maintaining data systems and applications.
Responsibilities:
- • Develop and maintain data systems and applications related to Earth Observation data.
- • Work with a variety of data sources, including satellite imagery, aerial photography, and other remote sensing data.
- • Analyse and interpret EO data to identify trends and patterns.
- • Develop algorithms and software to process and analyse EO data.
- • Develop visualisations and reports to present EO data.
- • Collaborate with other teams to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
- • Monitor and maintain data systems and applications.
- • Troubleshoot and resolve data system and application issues.
- • Provide technical support and advice to other teams.
Requirements:
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- • At least 3 years of experience in developing and maintaining data systems and applications.
- • Strong understanding of Earth Observation data and its applications.
- • Experience in developing algorithms and software to process and analyse EO data.
- • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
