Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Hospitality & Event Management Intern/Placement. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about the hospitality and event industry and wants to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- • Assist in the planning and execution of events, including but not limited to weddings, corporate events, and social gatherings
- • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and products
- • Assist in managing event budgets and tracking expenses
- • Provide excellent customer service to clients and guests
- • Assist in venue management, including setup and breakdown of events
- • Conduct research and provide recommendations for event themes, decorations, and entertainment
- • Assist in creating event timelines and schedules
- • Attend and participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
- • Assist in marketing and promoting events through various channels
- • Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and answering phone calls
- • Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Requirements:
- • Currently enrolled in a hospitality, event management, or related program
- • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- • Strong organizational and time-management skills
- • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- • Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management software
- • Knowledge of social media platforms and their use in event promotion
- • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- • Must be legally eligible to work in [Country]
