Position: Volunteer Video Editor & Social Media Content Creator Organization: Online Platform Pet Agency Location: Remote/Work from Home Volunteer Opportunity Duration: Flexible, minimum commitment of 6 months About the Organization: Our online platform pet agency is dedicated to connecting pet owners with trusted and reliable pet care providers. We offer a wide range of services including pet sitting, dog walking, grooming, and more. Our mission is to make pet care accessible, convenient, and stress-free for pet owners while ensuring the safety and well-being of their furry companions. Role Overview: We are seeking a talented and creative individual to join our team as a Volunteer Video Editor & Social Media Content Creator. In this role, you will be responsible for creating engaging and high-quality video content for our social media platforms to promote our services and increase brand awareness. You will also be responsible for managing our social media accounts and creating visually appealing and informative posts to engage with our audience. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video concepts and ideas that align with our brand and marketing goals - Edit and produce high-quality videos for social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube - Create visually appealing and informative social media posts to engage with our audience - Manage and maintain our social media accounts, including scheduling posts and responding to comments and messages - Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and incorporate them into our content strategy - Work closely with the marketing team to ensure all content is consistent with our brand voice and guidelines - Monitor and analyze social media metrics to track the success of our content and make recommendations for improvement - Collaborate with other team members to brainstorm and develop new ideas for social media campaigns and initiatives Qualifications: - A passion for pets and animal welfare - Proven experience in video editing and creating social media content - Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro - Strong understanding of social media platforms and their best practices - Excellent written and verbal communication skills in British English - Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box - Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Experience with pet care or related industries is a plus, but not required Benefits: - Gain valuable experience in video editing and social media marketing - Make a positive impact on the pet community by promoting responsible and reliable pet care - Flexible schedule and the ability to work from home - Opportunity to showcase your creativity and skills - Letter of recommendation upon successful completion of the volunteer term Join our team and help us make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners.
