Job Overview:
As a Social Media Videographer Intern, you will be responsible for creating engaging and visually appealing video content for our social media platforms. You will work closely with our marketing team to develop and execute video concepts that align with our brand image and marketing objectives. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about videography and social media and wants to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop video concepts and storyboards that align with our brand image and marketing objectives
- • Film and edit high-quality videos for various social media platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube
- • Use creative techniques and tools to enhance the visual appeal of the videos
- • Ensure all videos are in line with our brand guidelines and maintain consistency across all platforms
- • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in videography and social media to continuously improve the quality of our videos
- • Assist with the planning and execution of video shoots, including setting up equipment, lighting, and sound
- • Manage and organise video files and footage for easy access and retrieval
- • Collaborate with the marketing team to create video content for special campaigns and events
- • Monitor and analyse the performance of videos on social media platforms and provide insights and recommendations for improvement
- • Adhere to all copyright and licensing laws when using third-party content in videos
Requirements:
- • Currently pursuing a degree in videography, film production, or a related field
- • Strong portfolio showcasing previous video projects and skills in videography, editing, and storytelling
- • Proficient in using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar programs
- • Knowledge of social media platforms and their video requirements
- • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- • Creative mindset with a keen eye for detail
- • Basic understanding of lighting, sound, and camera equipment
