Job Specification
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting and Finance Executive to join our team. This role is ideal for a sharp fresh graduate with strong academic achievements or a candidate with up to 2 years of basic accounting/finance experience. You will support the finance team in handling day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance while gaining valuable exposure to professional finance practices. Key Responsibilities - Assist in maintaining accurate financial records, including data entry, invoices, receipts, and general ledger entries. - Support preparation of monthly and annual financial reports. - Assist with bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and expense tracking. - Provide support in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. - Ensure timely filing and compliance with statutory requirements (VAT, tax, audit). - Collaborate with auditors, tax advisors, and regulatory bodies when required. - Support management with financial data, cost analysis, and reporting. - Learn and apply financial systems, policies, and procedures. Qualifications & Skills - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field. - Fresh graduates with strong academic performance are encouraged to apply. - Up to 2 years of experience in accounting, finance, or internship experience is a plus. - Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting (IFRS/GAAP is a plus). - Proficiency in MS Excel; exposure to accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, or similar) is beneficial. - Strong numerical ability, analytical skills, and attention to detail. - Good communication and interpersonal skills. - Eagerness to learn, grow, and take on responsibility. - Key Competencies - Integrity and professionalism. - Willingness to learn and adapt quickly. - Team player with a proactive attitude. - Strong problem-solving mindset.
