Job Overview Modern Decorative is offering an intern sponsorship award of £600 a month plus net profit share for an accounting internship. Possible fast track position for the right person to work with Modern Decorative. Spanish and English speaking essential. Modern Decorative is an e-commerce Art & Antiques business leading the way. Our goal is a 3-way profit share between investors, Workers/interns & clients. We are putting in place a structure to give interns the opportunity to develop their creative skills & potential. Gain insight into the arts & antique e-commerce sector including its many business facets. We pay a basic daily internship award, plus a net profit share for those involved in making the business successful. Our goal is to give interns a possible chance to earn a fiscal reward for their hard work and dedication. People & Art is our business. At present a UK business, we are in the process of forming a Spanish SL company to take advantage of the many changes brought about by Brexit. We are offering an internship to perform additional duties within the new business. To source a specialist Spanish accounting company to advise in the field of art and antiques. To research and source suitable accounts platforms to enable the calculation of the various vat methods used in the art and antique business. To set up the chosen accounting platform and integrate it with our works management and CRM system bitrix24.com Implement a monthly internship reward payment scheme for internships. Put in place a net profit share scheme for interns in Modern Decorative. Implement 3-way profit share between shareholders - contractors and interns - customers Responsibilities for Internship Accountant Review financial statements, expenses and previous tax returns to identify the best strategy for organizing and monitoring Present quarterly and yearly financial reports to management Perform general bookkeeping and organize financial forms, documents and receipts Ensure all financial transactions within the company are accounted for and follow legal standards Analyze annual budget recording transactions in need of follow-up documentation Create personal and business invoices and request payment for services rendered Gather appropriate materials regarding yearly tax tables, instructions and forms to accurately calculate taxes for clients Work closely with clients and businesses to obtain personal information regarding potential deductions, educational grants or allowances Qualifications for Internship Accountant Licensure as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred but not essential. Professional experience working with confidential and sensitive information Knowledge of state and federal tax form processes and how to accurately properly prepare forms for each Ability to prioritize daily tasks and meet timely obligations with many clients Knowledge of accounting processes and advanced mathematical skills Experience consulting tax handbooks or other printed materials to determine the proper procedure for preparing challenging returns Skilled using various accounting software and experience in troubleshooting common accounting program problems Personal integrity when working with personal and sensitive financial information Professional experience in financial forecasting and risk analysis
