Job Description
The Social Media Specialist will be responsible for the day to day management of all social content mainly video including but not limited to YouTube, IGTV, & Instagram
We run a sports education youtube channel and in the process of setting up a fitness channel.
We’re looking for someone to create short promos and images from this content promoting it across , Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
You will need someone to optimise YouTube content including creating engaging thumbnails and fleshing out video descriptions/keywords, which are in line with a video optimisation strategy.
There will also be elements of market research, affiliate marketing research and Direct Messaging Marketing
Most importantly you will need to be able to edit videos and re purpose our streamed content.
Here’s a full breakdown of responsibilities
· Creating short promotional clips and images from the YouTube content (requires basic video and photo editing skills)
· Schedule and promote promotional content across our social platforms making sure that each promo is tailored for each platform
· Optimise online video content on YouTube and various YouTube Channels.
· Create engaging YouTube thumbnails
· Using VidIQ and TubeBuddy optimise YouTube videos
· Work collaboratively with the Company Director to understand how paid social media can meet the goals of marketing.
· Brainstorm creative promotional ideas with the Company Director
· Co-ordinate organic content requirements for paid social content.
· Manage paid social media ad campaigns
