Deadline Wednesday 18th August midnight Operations Intern, 01 Founders - 3 days per week mid August (approx 8-10 weeks) Do you want to get involved in an exciting new coding school? What is 01 Founders? 01 Founders is a new type of software engineering school​, training students from zero digital skills to high-end full stack engineers in two years, through an innovative, peer-to-peer education model. The model is ​free for students​, teacherless, gamified and project-based, based on the established pedagogy of 01Edu (the team behind Ecole42 and numerous successful coding schools worldwide), and supported by the brand and ecosystem of Founders Forum, Europe’s premiere entrepreneur community and a family of businesses that exist to support entrepreneurs at every stage of their journey. At 01 Founders, we have an opportunity to remove financial barriers to high-quality digital education, looking to enable people all over the UK, from all walks of life, to learn how to code. We are looking for an energetic, versatile and collaborative intern to join the team and help us successfully launch the school in London. The Role Reporting into the Head of Operations and working closely with the Operations Associate, the intern will be a generalist who’s excited to support the day to day running of a new startup, diving into whatever needs doing most. This will include: Answering enquiries from students via email and phone calls Support on campus with everyday tasks Help out the Operations Associate with admin tasks Gather feedback from learners about their learning journey and experience at 01 Founders Support on campus with fun social events and help us with ideas on how to engage with students socially Chip in with any ideas on how we can make our coding school even better Our ideal Candidate As the Operations Intern, you will possess: Good written and verbal communication skills Demonstrable interest in the tech and/or education sectors Ability to work with all levels of staff across the organisation A collaborative approach where you’re comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting into whatever needs doing most Proactive, resourceful and curious Work-ready English language and right to work in the UK How we’ll interview you In-person or video interview with Head of Operations and Operations Associate → Offer Interviews 19th - 20th August This role is to start immediately as a flexible hybrid of remote + in-person (3 days per week) with the office based in Regents Park, London Compensation London Living Wage - £10.85 per hour We are committed to building a diverse culture from day one, and are eager to receive applications from all backgrounds.
