Location: Buckhurst Hill Studio / Hybrid Type: Internship (Part-Time) Duration: 7-12 months (with potential for permanent role) Hours: Flexible (2–4 Days Per Week) About Evoke Interior Design Evoke Interior Design is a luxury residential interior design studio specialising in timeless, elegant interiors for private clients across London and Essex. We provide a highly personalised service, taking projects from initial concept through to procurement, styling and installation. We are looking for a Design Assistant Intern to support the day-to-day running of projects while gaining valuable hands-on industry experience. Key Responsibilities • Assist with mood boards, design concepts and presentations • Research furniture, lighting, accessories and finishes • Source products from suppliers and trade accounts • Prepare specification schedules and client documents • Order and organise samples • Assist with procurement and order tracking • Liaise with suppliers regarding deliveries and lead times • Support installation days and site visits • Organise project files and documentation • Assist with general studio administration Requirements • Passion for Interior Design • Excellent organisational skills • Strong attention to detail • Professional communication skills • Ability to work independently and proactively Desirable Skills • Canva • SketchUp • AutoCAD • Adobe Creative Suite • Previous experience in interiors, retail or customer service What You'll Gain • Experience working on real client projects • Exposure to sourcing, procurement and installations • Mentoring from an established interior designer • Portfolio-building opportunities • Potential future employment opportunities
