Description: Please note: this position is only for native English speakers who currently reside in the UK.
The position is for an ambitious salesperson looking to gain more experience.
You will be working for a new marketing agency, primarily focused on calling new leads with the aim of signing them as new clients.
If you are interested in other areas of marketing, there is other work you can get involved in as well, but the main role is making phone calls.
You will gain valuable sales experience and a reference for future job applications. You also have the opportunity to learn about different areas of marketing, and can receive training on job interviews and increasing your chances of being hired.
The ideal candidate will:
Enjoy talking to people
Be resilient and able to remain positive when faced with objections
Have excellent listening skills once the prospect answers your questions
Experience is not strictly necessary, but you will need to be sure that you're confident to make these calls.
Good communication is also required, so it's known when you can work and when you're unavailable.
Leads will be provided to you along with an outline script.
Your main job will be to make calls throughout the week (we will agree a target number). The prospects will be in different industries.
The agency is a new start-up, run by an experienced marketer. It's a good opportunity to learn more about marketing and its different functions.
