It's common knowledge that today's most desirable employers place a premium on creative problem-solving and unconventional ideas. Many students use their internship or summer employment experience to hone their critical thinking and creative abilities in preparation for their post-university careers. Many prosperous businesses base their operations on inventiveness and originality. Microsoft, LinkedIn, Apple, Twitter, etc are just a few examples of companies that revolutionised their respective industries. The products of imaginative thought are truly remarkable.
Some people naturally have a flair for the creative. Some others need to put in more effort to release their inner artist. With the correct resources, atmosphere, and motivation, as a new Intern you can exercise your creative muscles daily and inspire your team to do the same. Use your imagination.

Leverage your free time
Meetings, to-do lists, and keeping the workplace running smoothly take up much of your attention when you're there. Taking a break from work may be just what you need to let your mind switch gears. For example:
"When I need inspiration, I read biographies and watch documentaries about people who have achieved great things in their respective fields." "When I need to think of a new idea, for instance, I watch marketing videos by top professionals. I also like to jot down ideas and thoughts that come to me the night before and in the morning before I go to work.

Just get out of there
A change of scenery may do wonders for the mind when it's in a creative rut. If you're stuck, it's good to take a walk, go to an art museum, get in a new space. The creative juices tend to start flowing then. It's not something you can do whenever you want; rather, your brain needs to be working on it automatically.

Transform your office area
Grey cubicles, beige walls, and fluorescent lights aren't exactly conducive to brainstorming.
To truly foster this spirit, the environment itself must be creative." The addition of colour, plants, artwork, and natural light can have a significant impact. And if you want a true boost in creativity, use employee feedback to create a workplace and company culture that encourages innovation on their own.

Make an effort to motivate those around you.
Coming up with original ideas for upcoming presentations, budgeting, or staff reviews is not a simple task. It has been established that innovative thinking pays off. The more you can force yourself to break out of your routine, the more likely you are to find your inner innovator.
