Whatever you speak, will show your personal as well as professional capacity in several ways. Now, you would ask, how and why is the tone so important in a video CV? The answer is: Your manner of speaking plays a crucial role in getting you your dream internship.

1. Exuding Positivity
Ensure that your content projects positivity. There is no scope of generating any negative statements, or something that isn’t going to help you clear the prelims. 2. Check your Pace
Avoid talking too fast but avoid drawling as well. The ideal length of a video CV is up to 2 minutes and making sure that you put in just the right matter, speaking at right intervals with the right speed. Your CV should excite the employer for the complete length of it, so edit out all that is not important, and speak out everything confidently but with right spacing.
3. Stay Confident
Confidence is the key to everything good, but there is a thin line between over confidence and confidence. Since your CV is about presenting yourself, staying poised and self-assured about your experience, skills, passions, interests, you need to make sure you sound calm, composed and aware of what you are showcasing. It helps in getting the required response from employers.
4. Brand Yourself
Choose the substance to present carefully. Never forget that it’s YOU who would be talking, so it’s pretty obvious that you promote yourself well. Standing out from other candidates by talking about things of essence that bring out your respective talent regarding the job role, is the trick. Speak out the good about yourself, stay thoughtful and sincere that would help you connect with employers instantly.
It’s crucial to realise the importance of your speaking style while building a worthy video CV. Pitching the right tone can unveil the best characteristics of yourself, with its long-lasting effects.
Use words that help connect better. Avoid becoming too philosophical, and stress more on the facts and stats. These small things would help you get the right job, because you are in actual control what you present to the world.
