1. You inspire yourself. Even though being new at the workplace, you don’t get demotivated, instead, you become action oriented, stay proactive, without having your manager spoon-feeding your every time.
2. You take on more responsibilities. Always willing to work more than you are assigned, you strive to take on more assignments to learn and grow. You realise that doing more provides you with an opportunity to use your training, which leads to impressing your peers and superiors.
3. Every failure is a lesson for you. Whenever you confront a problem you use it as a chance to learn, since you know that you will only gain from it.
4. You start networking with the right people. You love being with team members who inspire you and with whom you can learn more. You prefer to be among successful people.
5. You take responsibility and never blame. You accept responsibility. You realise that blame does not mean you have control over your situation, therefore instead you are accountable for your situation. You try to find solutions and strive to not repeat those mistakes.
6. You love to learn new stuff. Learning is always a high priority for you. You know that the continuous development of knowledge and information is essential to keeping up-to-date. The world is ever evolving, and you understand that you have to too.
7. You want to do better all the time. You always try to improve in what you do, to gain expertise and are looking forward to improving yourself.
8. You don’t avoid Disapproval. Criticism is a great means for you to improve. You don't take it personally, and instead utilise it to improve yourself. You know you aren’t perfect hence any feedbacks on your work will have to be taken positively. That’s how you grow.
9. You embrace Change. Sometimes you realise that you need to change your path or may be doing things differently. That you must move ahead when you see your job isn’t what it should be. But changes that come your way shouldn't affect you badly, instead you take a pause, think over, adjust yourself and openly manage the changes.
10. You don’t complain. You acknowledge that whining about work will be a waste of your precious energy. It isn’t going to help you resolve the problem or achieve the results. Instead you decide to concentrate on addressing the problem and fix it.
11. You become productive. You learn to manage your time appropriately, you stay punctual so never miss a meeting. You become organised that helps achieve more in lesser time.
At this time perhaps you don't notice all the above indications, but don't fret about them. You definitely possess some traits, but maybe you aren’t just that self-aware. But, as long as you continually try to improve yourself, you will finally be able to cultivate all of them. Keep moving and as you go you're going to become better.
